When you use MusicAtlas through ChatGPT, Claude, or another compatible application using the MusicAtlas Model Context Protocol (MCP) service, MusicAtlas receives only the information sent to our tools as necessary to fulfill the request. Depending on the feature used, this may include artist names, track titles, playlist themes, genres, moods, activities, or similar music-discovery queries.
The public MusicAtlas MCP service does not require your name, email address, AI assistant account information, precise location, payment information, passwords, API keys, or other authentication credentials. MusicAtlas does not request or retrieve your full AI assistant conversation history through its public MCP tools.
Information sent to MusicAtlas through these tools is used to process music searches and analysis, return MusicAtlas results, operate and secure the service, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain and improve the reliability of MusicAtlas. MusicAtlas does not use AI assistant conversation data to build advertising profiles or sell personal information.
If you install or use the MusicAtlas Slack app, we may collect and store the minimum Slack workspace information needed to operate the integration, including workspace ID, workspace name, app installation data, bot access token, user IDs associated with commands, slash command text, and app usage metadata. We use this information only to provide MusicAtlas features in Slack, operate the integration, troubleshoot issues, and support authorized workspace features such as SyncSearch catalog access.
MusicAtlas does not read Slack channel history, private messages, files, or workspace content beyond the specific command text and interaction payloads sent directly to the MusicAtlas app. We do not use Slack data to train large language models.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing MusicAtlas services, maintaining customer accounts and integrations, supporting security and fraud prevention, resolving disputes, and complying with legal obligations.
Account and service information may be retained while an account or business relationship remains active and for a limited period afterward when necessary for legitimate operational, security, accounting, or legal purposes. Support communications may be retained as necessary to provide support and maintain a record of the request.
Requests made through the public MusicAtlas MCP service or other MusicAtlas integrations may be recorded in routine API and technical logs. These requests are not associated with a MusicAtlas user profile or maintained as a persistent search history. Routine API, technical, and security logs are retained for up to 90 days for service operation, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, security, and reliability.
If the MusicAtlas Slack app is uninstalled, we may retain workspace installation records and configuration history for a limited period to support reinstalls, enterprise provisioning, security, and audit requirements.
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We may retain information when required by law or when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

You may also control cookies through your browser settings and disconnect or uninstall integrations such as the MusicAtlas Slack app or MusicAtlas Plugin through the applicable service.
